Introduction to One Direction

Welcome to my website on additional information on One Direction. On this website we will be informing you about the group members, the first big thing as a band (on the X-Factor), their solo careers and how the band members are doing after the hiatus.

Group Members

  • Harry Styles- Harry Styles was 16 when he auditioned for the X-Factor. Before he had auditioned he had worked in a bakery. He was the most known in the band for being the band flirt.
  • Louis Tomlinson- Louis Tomlinson was 18 when he had auditioned for the X-factor. Louis Tomlinson was most known in the band for being the dangerous one, and early on he was considered the fun and goofy one.
  • Niall Horan- Niall Horan was 16 when he auditioned for the X-Factor. Niall Horan was most known for being the one who was always happy and laughed at practically everything. He was alway the chipper one.
  • Liam Payne- Liam Payne was 17 when he auditioned for the X-Factor. Liam Payne was the one known for being the leader of the group. He was the one who was considered to t=be the “dad” of the group.
  • Zayn Malik- Zayn Malik was 17 when he auditioned for the X-Factor. Zayn was known for being the mysterious one of the band. He didn’t really talk about his life, but he was Louis' partner in crime.
First Big Event Together

They were first put together as a band in 2010 when each boy had auditioned for the X-Factor. Each boy almost had their hearts crushed when Simon Cowell had the idea of putting them in a band, that means they also got to stay on the X-Factor. The first song they sang as a band was Torn by Natalie Imbrugia. They had gained a fan base for their singing and for the funny video diaries that the X-Factor had them do. After that the boys had won third place on the X-Factor and decided to stay as a band.

Solo Careers
  • Harrys solo career- Harry has many hit song that play on the radio. Some include Sign of the Times, Adore you, Watermelon Sugar, and most recently Golden. Though he has more songs that aren’t as well known such as From the Dining Table, Ever Since New York, and Sunflower vol. 6. Harry Styles has two albums out so far called HS1 and Fineline.
  • Louis solo career- Louis isn’t as well known as the other boys. He doesn’t have a well known song off of the radio. But he still has great music. Some of his songs include Habit, Two of Us, Fearless, and a new song that hasn’t been released but sang at a concert, Copy of a Copy of a Copy. His only album he has out right now is called Walls.
  • Nialls solo career- Niall is most known for his song Slow Hands that has been on the radio quite a bit. But his other not so known songs include Put a Little Love on Me, This town, Nice to Meet you, and Heartbreak weather. He is also known for his collaboration he has done with Ashe. His two albums are named Flicker and Heartbreak Weather.
  • Liams solo career- Liam is mostly known for his song Strip that Down that has had a lot of plays. His other songs include Remember, Hips Don’t Lie,Familiar, and Heart Meet Break. Liam Payne has one album called LP1.
  • Zayns solo career- Zayn is most known for his song Dusk til Dawn that he had sung for the show Fifty Shades of Grey. Some of his other songs include Good Years, Common, Insomnia, and PILLOWTALK. He has two albums out called Icarus Falls and Mind of Mine.
After Separation
  • Harry Styles- Harry is one of the few in the band with no kid. He also has no known significant other at the moment. Although he is very dedicated to his music and loves and cherishes his fans.
  • Louis Tomlinson- Louis Tomlinson had just had an online concert that he did to raise money for charity. He had raised more than 1 million dollars for said charities. He has his son Freddie and his girlfriend Elenor Caldar.
  • Niall Horan - Niall Horan is the other bandmate that does not have a child. He loves his fans and is working hard on his music. He just this year has done a collaboration with Ashe on a song the Ashe had written called Moral of the Story.
  • Liam Payne- Liam has even after 5 years still talks about his love of One Direction. He is now with his lovely girlfriend Maya Henry and he has a son named Bear. He is still super into his job as a musician.
  • Zayn Malik- Zayn had left the band before the hiatus for mental health reasons. But now he has gone on with his career as a musician. He has his girlfriend Gigi Hadid and they have just had their daughter to which they haven’t released the name of her.
